WASHINGTON, D.C. — Campbell Magazine earned its second international CASE Circle of Excellence award Wednesday in the “Cover Design” category for its Spring 2017 edition highlighting Campbell University’s role in the nation’s fight against opioid addiction.

Director of Visual Identity Jonathan Bronsink earned a Silver Award for his cover design in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s 2018 Circle of Excellence competition, considered the highest award honors  for communication and marketing professionals in higher education. “The Opioid Epidemic” takes an in-depth look at the crippling effects of highly addictive opioid drugs in North Carolina and the U.S. and the steps Campbell University’s health science programs are taking to educate the next generation of health care professionals to curb opioid use. The piece also shares personal testimonies from recovering addicts and family members of those addicted to painkillers.
